Seasons

Nature’s rake scrapes the earth.

Leaves from Fall are gathered up.

Winds blow away what was cleared.

Bare earth is warmed by Spring.

Seeds lying dormant have survived another Winter.

New life is conceived in what appears barren.

Looking out on a valley of leafless trees.

Will it be possible to find comfort in their shade once more?

Summer promises the full blossoming of potential.

The seasons give birth one from the other.

Consciousness gives birth one from the other.

Nothing remains the same and in this way nothing changes.
