Winds of Change
Off the mountain rumble roar
whistle through the window crack
Songs of blustery winters cold sing news of warmer
days.
Now and then peace is heard
Stillness claims center stage
Branches and limbs of trees stand still
their dance paused in silence.
Then just as quickly as it stopped
A roar announces the next gust.
Windows sing, trees dance,
Winged ones hold tight to swinging branch.
The dance of life swirls round and round
Tossing us to and fro - sometimes high, sometimes low.
We hold on tight with all our might
As solar winds blow through our souls.
Dear friends wind, bird, tree, and branch teach us to
hold on and yet surrender. Tell us when to be
prepared and how to accept the changes that are surely
coming.
Winter
Thank you for bringing Spring
Spring
Thank you for coming!
